The CETA Business Forum will have among its official partners the Organization of Women in International Trade OWIT of Brussels.
OWIT Chapter in Brussels was created to allow international members of the organization to have a landing point in the heart of the European Union. This means a contact point to lobby the European Institutions, as well as support to create a hub for products and services that wish to reach the rest of the region.
Belgium is considered one of the best test markets in Europe. The advantages lay in the various consumer and company profiles concentrated in a geographically small area. Belgium benefits from main European seaports and airports, a very dense road and railway network, making 500 million consumers reachable in a matter of hours.
The OWIT Chapter in Brussels also aims at facilitating its local members’ contacts to other markets and networks. Our core intention is to proactively create bonds that in the future will support international collaborations.
For this reason the CETA Business Forum, with the support and presence of OWIT-Toronto, will dedicate an important space for discussion to the themes of women entrepreneurship and women in international trade, which will be the focuses of one of the “CETA Talks“, the debates scheduled during the conference. During this talk, scheduled for June 23 at 6 pm in the virtual conference room “Canada”, we will listen to the experiences of European and Canadian entrepreneurs with the aim of defining the actions to be taken to accelerate the growth of all-female companies.
The first edition of the CETA Business Forum is scheduled for June 22-23, 2022 and will take place entirely online, through a digital platform capable of reproducing a 360° trade fair event, with the presence of classrooms, stands and services for interaction between participants, all in 3D format. The B2B area will be open from June 22 to 30, 24 hours a day, and will allow participants to arrange face-to-face meetings to get to know each other and develop new relationships.
